Public and School Librarians Response to their Communities in the Opioid Crisis
This collaborative research study was aimed at investigating how libraries are responding in their communities. The study sought to discover the nature of library response specifically in regard to programming, education initiatives, outreach in the community and training of library personnel. My research on the opioid crisis stems from a deep and passionate belief in the power of libraries to change lives and their power to demonstrate and facilitate caring practices in their communities.
